Exodus 26:1
"Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim worked into them by a skilled craftsman.
God instructed Moses on how to build the tabernacle, which was a portable place of worship for the Israelites. The tabernacle was made up of curtains, frames, and coverings, all carefully designed and crafted according to God's specifications. The tabernacle was divided into two sections: the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. The Holy Place contained the lampstand, the table with the bread of the Presence, and the altar of incense. The Most Holy Place housed the ark of the covenant, which symbolized God's presence among His people. The tabernacle was a visual representation of God's desire to dwell among His people. It served as a constant reminder of His covenant with them and their need for His guidance and presence. The intricate details of the tabernacle reflect God's attention to detail and His desire for His people to approach Him with reverence and awe.
