Easy Bible・Deuteronomy 31
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
In Deuteronomy 31, Moses gives his final encouragement to the Israelites before they enter the Promised Land. He reminds them to be strong and courageous, for the Lord their God will never leave them or forsake them. Moses appoints Joshua as his successor and encourages him to lead the people with confidence, knowing that God will be with him. Moses then writes down the law and commands the Levites to read it to the people every seven years during the Feast of Tabernacles. Finally, Moses prophesies about the future apostasy of the Israelites and the consequences they will face. Despite their disobedience, God assures Moses that He will always be faithful to His covenant and will ultimately restore His people.
