Easy Bible・Deuteronomy 32
Deuteronomy 32:1
Listen, O heavens, and I will speak; hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
Deuteronomy 32 is a song of Moses that he taught to the Israelites. It is a song of warning and a reminder of God's faithfulness and justice. In this song, Moses starts by calling the heavens and earth to listen to his words. He praises the greatness of God, saying that God is perfect and all His ways are just. Moses declares that God is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just and faithful. Moses then reminds the Israelites of their history, how God chose them as His people and led them out of Egypt. He recounts how God cared for and protected them, providing for all their needs. However, despite God's faithfulness, the Israelites turned away from Him and worshiped other gods, provoking His jealousy.
