Deuteronomy 33:1
This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death.
In Deuteronomy 33, Moses blesses the twelve tribes of Israel before his death. He declares that God came from Sinai and shone upon them from Seir; he dawned from Mount Paran and came with thousands of holy ones. Moses acknowledges God's love for his people and praises His majesty and power. Moses proceeds to bless each tribe individually, speaking words of encouragement and prophetic insight. He blesses Reuben, Judah, Levi, Benjamin, Joseph, Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, and finally, he blesses the tribe of Benjamin again. In his blessings, Moses speaks of the tribes' unique characteristics and future prosperity. He prays for their safety, victory in battles, and abundance of blessings. Moses concludes his blessings by acknowledging that there is no God like the God of Israel, who rides across the heavens to help His people and to display His glory.
