Easy Bible・Joshua 1
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
In Joshua 1, God commissions Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land after Moses' death. God assures Joshua of His presence and promises to give him every place where he sets his foot. He encourages Joshua to be strong and courageous, to obey His law, and to meditate on it day and night. God reminds Joshua that He has already given them the land, and Joshua must now take possession of it. He instructs Joshua to be strong and not to be discouraged or afraid, for the Lord will be with him wherever he goes. This chapter highlights the importance of faith, obedience, and trust in God's promises. Joshua is called to step into a position of leadership and face the challenges ahead with courage and reliance on God. It serves as a reminder to us that God is with us in our own journeys and that we can trust in His guidance and provision.
