Easy Bible・Joshua 11
Joshua 11:23
So Joshua took the entire land, just as the LORD had directed Moses, and he gave it as an inheritance to Israel according to their tribal divisions. Then the land had rest from war.
In Joshua 11, we see the continuation of the conquest of the Promised Land. Joshua and the Israelites face a coalition of northern kings who gather together to fight against them. However, God assures Joshua of victory and instructs him not to be afraid. The Israelites engage in battle and defeat the enemy, taking control of their cities and territories. The chapter highlights the fulfillment of God's promise to give the Israelites the land. It emphasizes the importance of obedience and faithfulness to God's commands. Despite facing powerful enemies, the Israelites trust in God's strength and guidance, leading to their triumph. This chapter serves as a reminder of God's faithfulness and the significance of relying on Him in times of difficulty. It teaches us the importance of staying faithful to God's word and trusting in His promises, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges.
