Judges 15:14
As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands.
After Samson's wife was given to his companion, he became angry and struck down a thousand Philistines with a donkey's jawbone. Samson's anger and revenge against the Philistines was sparked by the betrayal of his wife. In his fury, he used a donkey's jawbone as a weapon and single-handedly defeated a thousand Philistines. This incredible feat of strength demonstrated God's power working through Samson. This event highlights the ongoing conflict between Samson and the Philistines. Despite his personal flaws and impulsive behavior, God used Samson as a judge and deliverer of Israel from their enemies. It serves as a reminder that God can use imperfect individuals to accomplish His purposes.
