Easy Bible・1 Samuel 1
1 Samuel 1:27
I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.
In this chapter, we see Hannah, who was barren, praying to the Lord for a child. She made a vow to dedicate her child to the Lord if He would grant her request. God heard her prayer and blessed her with a son named Samuel. Hannah's prayer shows us the power of heartfelt and persistent prayer. She poured out her soul before the Lord, expressing her deep desire for a child. Hannah's faith and trust in God's faithfulness are evident in her prayer. She believed that God could answer her prayer and she was willing to give her child back to Him. This chapter teaches us the importance of bringing our desires and burdens before the Lord in prayer. It reminds us that God hears our prayers and is able to answer them according to His will. Like Hannah, we can have faith in God's faithfulness and trust that He will provide for our needs.
