About this Chapter

After David had killed Goliath, he became close friends with Jonathan, King Saul's son. Jonathan loved David as himself. Jonathan made a covenant with David, giving him his robe, tunic, sword, bow, and belt, symbolizing his support and friendship. David was successful in all his missions, and Saul became jealous of him. However, Jonathan continued to support and protect David, even risking his own life.
