2 Kings 12:2
Joash did what was right in the eyes of the LORD all the years Jehoiada the priest instructed him.
In the seventh year of Jehu, Jehoash became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for forty years. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all the years Jehoiada the priest instructed him. However, the high places were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. Jehoash commanded that a collection be made from the priests in order to repair the temple of the Lord. However, the priests did not use the money to repair the temple, but instead used it for themselves. When Jehoash found out, he confronted the priests and ordered them to use the money for the repairs. The priests agreed, but they did not act faithfully in carrying out the repairs.
