Easy Bible・Job 2
Job 2:3
Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason."
In Job chapter 2, Satan appears before God again, and God allows Satan to afflict Job with painful sores from head to toe. Even in this extreme suffering, Job remains faithful to God and does not curse Him. Job's wife, seeing his suffering, tells him to curse God and die, but Job responds by saying, 'Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?' Job's response shows his unwavering faith in God, even in the midst of his suffering. Job's friends, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, come to visit him and are initially speechless when they see his condition. They sit with Job for seven days and nights, silently mourning with him.
