Easy Bible・Job 9
Job 9:2
"Indeed, I know that this is true. But how can a mortal be righteous before God?
In this chapter, Job responds to Bildad's previous speech. Job acknowledges that God is wise and powerful, and no one can oppose or question Him. Job recognizes that God is the one who created the heavens and the earth, and controls all aspects of nature. Job feels helpless and insignificant in comparison to God's greatness. Job expresses his desire for a mediator who can plead his case before God. He longs for someone who can understand and empathize with his suffering. Job recognizes that God is just and powerful, but he also feels overwhelmed by his current circumstances and the weight of his suffering. Job concludes the chapter by expressing his frustration and despair. He feels trapped and unable to defend himself against God's accusations. Job longs for an opportunity to present his case before God and find relief from his suffering.
