Easy Bible・Job 33
Job 33:14
For God does speak-now one way, now another- though man may not perceive it.
In this chapter, Elihu continues to speak to Job on behalf of God. He starts by saying that God speaks to people in various ways, such as through dreams and visions. Elihu emphasizes that God does this to turn people from wrongdoing and to keep them from pride. He also explains that God uses suffering to discipline and teach people, with the goal of bringing them back to Him. Elihu then tells Job that he should not accuse God of being unjust, because God is greater than any human. He reminds Job that God is perfect in His wisdom and power, and that He does not owe anyone an explanation for His actions. Elihu urges Job to listen and respond to God's correction, and to humble himself before Him. Elihu concludes by encouraging Job to repent and confess his sins to God, assuring him that God is gracious and merciful. He tells Job that if he repents, God will restore him and bless him with a renewed life. Elihu reminds Job of God's goodness and His desire to save people from the pit of destruction, urging Job to turn to God and find true peace and redemption.
