Easy Bible・Job 40
Job 40:1
The LORD said to Job:
In this chapter, God continues to speak to Job out of the storm. He challenges Job to answer Him and presents Himself as the all-powerful Creator of the universe. God asks Job if he can really contend with the Almighty and correct Him. He challenges Job to dress himself in glory and splendor, and to clothe himself in majesty and honor, if he thinks he can compare to God. God also mentions the Behemoth, a mighty creature that He created. This creature is described as having great strength in its hips and power in its muscles. It has a tail like a cedar tree and bones like bronze. God declares that only He can approach this creature and that it is the first of His works.
