Psalms 17:6
I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.
In this psalm, David prays to God for protection and deliverance from his enemies. He declares his innocence and asks God to listen to his plea for justice. David seeks refuge in God, trusting in His unfailing love and righteousness. David describes his enemies as ruthless and arrogant, seeking to harm him. He asks God to hide him in the shadow of His wings, protecting him from their attacks. David recognizes that God is his only hope and salvation. David ends the psalm with confidence, stating that he will see God's face and be satisfied when he awakes. He trusts in God's presence and promises, knowing that God will answer his prayer and deliver him from his enemies.
