Psalms 70:1
Hasten, O God, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me.
In Psalm 70, the psalmist cries out to God for help and deliverance from his enemies. He urgently asks God to come quickly to his aid and to put his enemies to shame. The psalmist is in a desperate situation and relies on God's salvation and deliverance. The psalmist acknowledges that God is his rock and salvation, and he trusts in Him alone. He prays for God to act on his behalf and to let those who seek his life be turned back and brought to disgrace. The psalmist's ultimate desire is for all who love God to rejoice and be glad in Him. This psalm reminds us that in times of trouble and opposition, we can turn to God for help and deliverance. He is our refuge and strength, and He is always ready to come to our aid. Let us trust in Him and seek His face, knowing that He is faithful to deliver us from our enemies.
