Jeremiah 24:7
I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.

About this Chapter

In this chapter, Jeremiah has a vision of two baskets of figs. One basket contains good figs, representing the exiles from Judah who will be restored and blessed by God. The other basket contains bad figs, representing the wicked people who will be punished and rejected by God. God promises to watch over and care for the exiles who have been taken captive to Babylon. He will bring them back to their homeland and give them a future filled with hope. He will give them a heart to know Him and be their God, and they will be His people. On the other hand, God will deal with the wicked people who have refused to listen to His words and have chosen to follow their own evil desires. They will be scattered and destroyed, and their name will become a curse and a reproach among all the nations.
