Ezekiel 11:19
I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

About this Chapter

In this chapter, the Lord shows Ezekiel a vision of the wicked leaders in Jerusalem and pronounces judgment on them. God declares that because of their evil actions, He will bring judgment upon them. However, in the midst of this judgment, God also promises to gather His people from the nations and restore them to the land of Israel. The Lord says that He will give the people a new heart and put a new spirit within them. He will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. This signifies a transformation of their inner being, where they will no longer be hardened towards God, but will have a desire to follow Him. God also promises that He will be their God and they will be His people. He will cleanse them from their sins and give them a new start. This is a message of hope and restoration, showing that even in the midst of judgment, God is still faithful to His people and desires to bring them back to Himself.
