Ezekiel 42:15
When he had finished measuring what was inside the temple area, he led me out by the east gate and measured the area all around:
In this chapter, Ezekiel describes the inner court of the temple. The measurements of the various chambers and rooms within the court are given in detail. The purpose of these rooms is to serve as living quarters for the priests who minister in the temple. The inner court is a sacred space where only the priests are allowed to enter. It is a place of worship and service to God. The detailed measurements of the rooms emphasize the importance of order and organization in the worship of God. As believers, we can learn from the description of the inner court. We are called to approach God with reverence and respect, understanding the sacredness of His presence. Just as the priests had specific roles and responsibilities in the inner court, we too have a unique role to play in the body of Christ. Let us strive to serve God faithfully and wholeheartedly, using our gifts and talents for His glory.
