Ezekiel 43:5
Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
In this chapter, Ezekiel sees a vision of the glory of the Lord filling the temple. The Lord's voice comes from the temple and tells Ezekiel to pay attention to the details of the temple's design and to write them down for the people of Israel to see. The Lord also instructs Ezekiel to describe the temple's design and regulations to the people, so that they may be ashamed of their sins and follow the instructions carefully. The Lord reveals that the temple is the place of His throne and the place where His name will dwell forever among the Israelites. He promises that He will never abandon His people and that He will dwell among them in the temple forever. However, the people of Israel must repent of their sins and follow His instructions in order to experience His presence and blessings. This vision of the glory of the Lord filling the temple serves as a reminder to the people of Israel of God's holiness and their need to live in obedience to Him. It also foreshadows the coming of Jesus Christ, who would be the ultimate fulfillment of God's presence among His people. Just as the glory of the Lord filled the temple in Ezekiel's vision, Jesus would come to dwell among us and bring us salvation and eternal life.
