Easy Bible・Daniel 11
Daniel 11:32
With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
Daniel 11 contains a detailed prophecy about the future kings and conflicts in the world. The chapter starts with a description of the Persian and Greek empires, and then focuses on the conflicts between the kings of the North and the kings of the South. These conflicts involve deceit, betrayal, and military campaigns. The prophecy also mentions a wicked king who will exalt himself and blaspheme God. This king will persecute the people who are faithful to God, but they will remain strong and take action against him. The chapter ends with a reference to the time of the end, when there will be a great tribulation and many will be purified, refined, and made white. Daniel 11 reminds us that even in times of great conflict and persecution, God is in control. He knows the future and will ultimately bring justice and judgment. It encourages us to remain faithful to God, even in the face of adversity, and to trust in His sovereignty.
