Easy Bible・Zechariah 10
Zechariah 10:1
Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone.
In this chapter, the prophet Zechariah speaks about the restoration of God's people. He starts by saying that God will send rain in the springtime, symbolizing his provision and blessing. The people will be filled with joy and gratitude as they see God's faithfulness. Zechariah then addresses the leaders of Judah, telling them not to rely on idols or diviners, but to seek the Lord for guidance. He assures them that God will answer their prayers and deliver them from their enemies. The people of Judah will be strengthened and become like warriors, trampling down their enemies. Finally, Zechariah prophesies about the future restoration of God's people. He says that God will gather them from all the nations and bring them back to their land. They will increase in number and be a blessing to the nations. God will restore their strength and they will live in peace and security.
