Easy Bible・Matthew 24
Matthew 24:3
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
In Matthew 24, Jesus and his disciples are sitting on the Mount of Olives, and the disciples ask him about the signs of his coming and the end of the age. Jesus then warns them about false messiahs, wars and rumors of wars, famines, and earthquakes. He says that these are just the beginning of birth pains. Jesus also predicts that his followers will be persecuted and hated by all nations because of him. He encourages them to stand firm and not be deceived by false prophets. He says that the gospel will be preached to the whole world, and then the end will come.
