Acts 10:34
Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism
In this chapter, we see the story of Peter and Cornelius. Cornelius, a centurion, was a devout and God-fearing man who had a vision from an angel of God. The angel told him to send for Peter, who was staying in Joppa. Meanwhile, Peter also had a vision from God where he saw a sheet filled with all kinds of animals. A voice told him to kill and eat, but Peter refused, saying that he has never eaten anything impure or unclean. The voice told him not to call anything impure that God has made clean. When Cornelius' messengers arrived, Peter went with them to Caesarea. There, he found Cornelius and his relatives and close friends gathered together. Peter began to speak to them, saying that he now realizes that God does not show favoritism, but accepts people from every nation who fear Him and do what is right. He then shared the message of Jesus Christ and how He was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and power. As Peter was speaking, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The Jewish believers who had come with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. Peter then commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. This event showed that the Gospel was not only for the Jews, but for all people, regardless of their nationality or background.
