About this Chapter

In Acts 21, Paul sets out on his journey to Jerusalem, despite being warned by the Holy Spirit and fellow believers that he will face hardships and imprisonment. He is determined to go and fulfill God's calling for him, even if it means suffering. When Paul arrives in Caesarea, a prophet named Agabus takes Paul's belt and binds his own hands and feet, symbolizing that Paul will be bound and handed over to the Gentiles in Jerusalem. Despite this warning, Paul remains steadfast in his decision to go. Paul's journey to Jerusalem teaches us the importance of following God's calling, even in the face of adversity. It reminds us that obedience to God's will may require sacrifice and suffering, but ultimately leads to His purposes being fulfilled.
