Acts 27:23
Last night an angel of the God whose I am and whom I serve stood beside me
In this chapter, Paul is being taken as a prisoner to Rome by ship. Despite warnings from Paul, the ship sets sail and encounters a severe storm. During the storm, an angel of God appears to Paul and assures him that everyone on board will be safe. Paul shares this message of assurance with the crew, encouraging them to have faith in God. As the storm rages on for many days, the crew becomes fearful and loses hope. Paul, however, remains steadfast in his faith and continues to trust in God's promise. He encourages the crew to eat and gain strength, assuring them that not a hair on their heads will be harmed. Eventually, the ship runs aground on the island of Malta, exactly as Paul had predicted. Everyone on board safely reaches the shore, just as God had promised. This chapter serves as a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness and his ability to protect and deliver his people even in the midst of the most challenging circumstances.
