Acts 28:30
For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.
In this chapter, we see Paul's ministry in Rome after surviving a shipwreck. Paul and the other prisoners arrived on the island of Malta, where they were kindly received by the natives. Paul healed the father of Publius, the chief official of the island, which led to many others coming to him for healing. After three months on Malta, they set sail again and arrived in Rome. When they arrived, Paul was allowed to live by himself with a soldier to guard him. Paul wasted no time and began preaching the kingdom of God and teaching about Jesus to the Jewish leaders in Rome. Paul's ministry continued in Rome for two years. He welcomed all who came to see him, boldly proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. Even though he was under house arrest, Paul had the freedom to share the gospel with all who were willing to listen. Many believed and were saved, while others rejected his message. Paul's ministry in Rome was a testament to his unwavering faith and commitment to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. The book of Acts ends with Paul's ministry in Rome. Despite facing numerous trials and hardships, Paul remained steadfast in his mission to share the gospel. His example teaches us the importance of persevering in our faith and boldly proclaiming the truth of Jesus Christ, no matter the circumstances we may face. May we be inspired by Paul's unwavering dedication and continue to share the good news of salvation with those around us.
