Romans 2:6
God "will give to each person according to what he has done."
In this chapter, Paul addresses those who judge others while doing the same things. He emphasizes that God's judgment is based on truth and will be impartial. Paul explains that those who persist in doing good will receive eternal life, but those who are self-seeking and reject the truth will face wrath and anger from God. Paul also points out that it is not enough to merely possess the law, but one must also obey it. He states that both Jews and Gentiles will be judged according to their actions. Paul highlights that God does not show favoritism and that it is the doers of the law who will be justified. Furthermore, Paul challenges the Jews who take pride in their circumcision and the possession of the law. He explains that true circumcision is of the heart, not just the body, and that the praise of God comes from the inner transformation. Paul concludes by emphasizing that it is not outward appearance or adherence to the law that matters, but a genuine relationship with God.
