Easy Bible・1 Corinthians 2
1 Corinthians 2:6
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
In this chapter, Paul talks about the wisdom from God that is revealed by the Holy Spirit. He explains that this wisdom is different from the wisdom of the world, which is limited and temporary. The wisdom from God is a hidden mystery that was not understood by the rulers of this age. However, God has revealed this wisdom to those who love Him through His Spirit. Paul emphasizes that the wisdom of God cannot be understood by human wisdom or intellect. It is a spiritual wisdom that can only be discerned by those who have the Holy Spirit. The natural person does not understand the things of the Spirit of God, but the spiritual person has the mind of Christ. Paul concludes by encouraging the Corinthians to rely on the wisdom from God rather than the wisdom of the world. He reminds them that the wisdom of the world is foolishness in God's sight. Therefore, they should not boast in human wisdom, but in the wisdom that comes from God.
