1 Corinthians 16:14
Do everything in love.
In 1 Corinthians 16, the apostle Paul gives the Corinthians some closing instructions and sends his final greetings. He encourages them to be on guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, and be strong. He instructs them to do everything in love and reminds them of the importance of unity in the body of Christ. Paul also gives instructions about the collection for the Lord's people. He advises the Corinthians to set aside a portion of their income on the first day of every week, so that there won't be a need to collect money when he arrives. He assures them that he will send trusted representatives to deliver their gift to Jerusalem. In the final part of the chapter, Paul mentions his travel plans and expresses his desire to visit the Corinthians. He hopes to spend some time with them, but he acknowledges that he will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost. He sends greetings from various individuals and urges the Corinthians to greet one another with a holy kiss.
