Philippians 1:6
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
In Philippians 1, the apostle Paul expresses his gratitude and love for the believers in Philippi. He begins by assuring them that God, who started a good work in them, will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Paul also shares his deep affection for the Philippians and his prayer for them to grow in love and knowledge, so that they may discern what is best and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ. Despite facing imprisonment, Paul encourages the Philippians by sharing how his circumstances have actually served to advance the gospel. He urges them to have courage and stand firm in unity, not being frightened by their opponents, as it is a sign of their salvation and their opponents' destruction.
