Easy Bible・2 Thessalonians 1
2 Thessalonians 1:11
With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.
In this chapter, Paul writes to the Thessalonians to encourage them in the midst of their persecutions and afflictions. He begins by commending their faith and perseverance, and assures them that God will bring justice to those who trouble them. He then describes the future judgment that will come upon those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul also prays for the Thessalonians, asking God to count them worthy of their calling and to fulfill every good purpose of theirs. He concludes by reminding them of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and encourages them to stand firm in their faith.
