Easy Bible・Hebrews 13
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Hebrews 13 encourages believers to live a life of faith and obedience, reminding them to show hospitality, care for prisoners, honor marriage, and be content with what they have. The chapter begins with a reminder to continue loving one another and to show hospitality to strangers, as some have unknowingly entertained angels. Believers are also encouraged to remember those in prison and to be empathetic towards them, as if they themselves were suffering. Furthermore, Hebrews 13 emphasizes the importance of honoring marriage and remaining faithful to one's spouse. It warns against sexual immorality and reminds believers that God will judge those who are sexually immoral. The chapter also encourages believers to be content with what they have, as God has promised to never leave or forsake them.
