Easy Bible・2 Peter 2
2 Peter 2:1
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
In this chapter, Peter warns the believers about false teachers who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, denying the Lord who bought them and bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Peter explains that just as there were false prophets in the past, there will also be false teachers among the believers. These false teachers will exploit the believers with their deceptive words and lead them astray from the truth. Peter emphasizes that these false teachers will not escape God's judgment, as He did not spare the angels who sinned or the ancient world. He rescued Noah and condemned the wicked, and He knows how to rescue the godly from trials while punishing the unrighteous.
