Revelation 5:1
Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
In Revelation 5, John sees a scroll in the right hand of God, sealed with seven seals. An angel proclaims with a loud voice, asking who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. No one in heaven or on earth or under the earth is found worthy to open the scroll, which causes John to weep. But then, one of the elders tells him not to weep, for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed and is able to open the scroll. John then sees a Lamb, appearing as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne. The Lamb takes the scroll from the right hand of God, and the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fall down before the Lamb, each holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people.
