Revelation 6:1
I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!"
Revelation 6 marks the beginning of the end times, as the Lamb of God opens the first six of the seven seals. As each seal is broken, a different event unfolds, revealing the coming judgment and tribulation upon the earth. The first seal is opened, and a white horse appears, symbolizing the rise of the Antichrist and the spread of false peace and deception. The second seal is opened, and a red horse emerges, representing war and bloodshed. The third seal reveals a black horse, signifying famine and scarcity. The fourth seal brings forth a pale horse, symbolizing death and the grave. The fifth seal reveals the souls of the martyrs, crying out for justice and vengeance. And with the opening of the sixth seal, there is a great earthquake, cosmic disturbances, and people hiding in fear. These events serve as a warning and a call to repentance for those living in the end times. They remind us that God is in control of history and that He will bring judgment upon the wicked. They also remind us of the hope we have in Christ, who is the Lamb that was slain and who will ultimately triumph over evil and establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace.
