Revelation 10:6
And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, "There will be no more delay!
In this chapter, John sees another mighty angel coming down from heaven, holding a little scroll in his hand. The angel has one foot on the sea and one foot on the land, and he shouts like a lion. When he shouts, seven thunders utter their voices. Then, the angel raises his right hand to heaven and swears by the One who lives forever and ever, that there will be no more delay. He declares that when the seventh angel sounds his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as He announced to His servants the prophets. Then, John is commanded to take the little scroll from the angel's hand and eat it. He is told that it will be sweet in his mouth, but bitter in his stomach. John obeys and eats the scroll. It is indeed sweet in his mouth, but when he eats it, it makes his stomach bitter. The chapter ends with John being told that he must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.
