Revelation 13:1
And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.
In Revelation 13, John sees a beast rising out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads, each with a blasphemous name. The beast is given authority by the dragon and is worshipped by the world. This beast represents a powerful and oppressive political system that persecutes the followers of God. It derives its power from Satan and seeks to deceive people into worshiping it instead of God. The number 666 is associated with this beast, symbolizing its imperfection and opposition to God. This chapter serves as a warning to believers to remain faithful and not be deceived by the allure of worldly power and authority.
