Revelation 22:1
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
In Revelation 22, John sees a vision of the new Jerusalem, where a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb. On either side of the river is the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. This vision symbolizes the eternal life and healing that will be experienced in the new heaven and earth. The river of life represents the continuous flow of God's grace and provision, bringing refreshment and sustenance to all who partake of it. The tree of life symbolizes the abundance of God's blessings and the eternal vitality that will be enjoyed by the redeemed. In this final chapter of the Bible, John is reminded of the promise of God's ultimate restoration and the hope of eternal life. It serves as a reminder for believers to persevere in their faith and to eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of God's promises.
