Beloved soul, in the embrace of divine wisdom, the Scriptures illuminate the path we tread. Our Heavenly Father, in His boundless love, desires that we steer clear of actions that lead us away from His grace. In Proverbs 6:16-19, we find a list of things the Lord finds detestable: "There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community." These transgressions, dear one, are not merely actions but reflections of a heart turned from His light. God, in His infinite mercy, wishes us to live in truth, peace, and humility. It is not the sinner He despises, but the sins that ensnare us, pulling us from His loving embrace. Yet, remember always, His grace is abundant and His forgiveness vast. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). His arms are open, ready to welcome us back into the fold of His eternal love. May your heart find peace in His words, and may you walk in the light of His presence all your days.
