Remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18, NIV). In the storm of betrayal, it is natural to feel lost and hurt. Yet, within the depths of your suffering, know that you are not alone. God walks with you, offering His strength and solace. He understands your pain and invites you to lean upon Him for comfort and guidance. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and when it is shaken, it can feel as though the very foundation of your life is at risk. However, remember that healing and restoration are possible through God's love. It is important to seek wisdom and discernment, perhaps through prayer, trusted counsel, or pastoral guidance, to understand the path forward. Forgiveness, though challenging, may open the door to healing—both for you and your spouse. Ephesians 4:32 encourages us to "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." This does not mean excusing wrongdoing, but rather freeing yourself from the chains of bitterness.
