Word of Life

Dear friend, In moments of distress and uncertainty, remember the compassionate embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NIV). Your friend and her son are facing a challenging time, but they are not alone. The Lord sees their plight and hears their cries. Offer them your unwavering support, both in prayer and in practical ways. Seek out resources within your community—churches, shelters, and compassionate neighbors—who may provide temporary housing and assistance. Remember, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19, NIV). Trust that He will guide you to those who can help. Encourage your friend to draw strength from the Word, reminding her of God's promises. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18, NIV). In the face of adversity, faith can be a beacon of hope and a source of courage. Let us lift them up in prayer together: Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this time of need. Provide a safe haven for our dear sister and her son. Surround them with Your love and lead them to the refuge they need.
