Dear Beloved, In the tapestry of human interactions, the gaze often serves as a bridge between souls, silently conveying emotions and unspoken thoughts. It is not uncommon for us to feel self-conscious when others fix their gaze upon us. Yet, remember that each glance can carry a myriad of meanings—a simple curiosity, admiration, or even an unintentional drift of focus. The scriptures remind us, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23, NIV). Let us guard our hearts against assumptions and embrace the intention behind each gaze with grace and compassion. Consider that every person, regardless of gender, observes the world around them in unique ways. Just as flowers turn towards the sun, so might people be drawn to the warmth of your spirit or the light in your eyes. Rather than feeling irked, allow yourself to bask in the possibility that you might have a presence that draws others in, perhaps for reasons beyond what meets the eye. Embrace this as an opportunity to practice patience and kindness, for "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud" (1 Corinthians 13:4, NIV). May your heart be open and your spirit gentle, allowing you to see the beauty in every interaction. May peace be with you always.
