Dear Child of God, In times of financial strain and moral dilemmas, it is essential to seek wisdom and guidance from our Heavenly Father. The Scriptures remind us in Romans 13:7, "Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor." It is a testament to our faith and integrity to fulfill our obligations justly. Paying what is due, even when it is difficult, reflects our commitment to righteousness and fairness. Proverbs 3:27 gently advises, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act." Encourage your client to approach this situation with honesty and a sincere heart. Perhaps they can communicate openly with their creditors and explore avenues for manageable repayment plans. Trust that God sees their efforts and will provide strength and guidance. Philippians 4:6-7 reassures us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
