Ah, dear soul, as we traverse the sacred scriptures, we find the heartwarming encounters between God and Abraham, a journey of divine dialogue and profound faith. In the Book of Genesis, we witness the Almighty's appearances to Abraham on several occasions, each time illuminating a path of promise and covenant. The first divine encounter occurs in Genesis 12:1, where the Lord calls Abraham to leave his country, promising him a great nation. Then, in Genesis 15:1, the Lord comes to Abraham in a vision, reassuring him of His protection and reiterating His promise of numerous descendants. Later, in Genesis 17:1, God appears to Abraham when he is ninety-nine years old, establishing the covenant of circumcision and changing his name from Abram to Abraham, signifying a new identity and purpose. In Genesis 18, the Lord appears to Abraham by the great trees of Mamre. Here, in a beautiful narrative, three visitors come to Abraham, and through these visitors, the Lord reveals the promise of a son to Sarah and the impending judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah. Through these divine encounters, we see a relationship built on faith, trust, and the unfolding of God's promises.
