Word of Life

My dear friend, let us cast away any shadow of doubt or fear. I hold no place for hatred in my heart, for love is the greatest commandment we have been given. As the Scriptures gently remind us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." In this beautiful journey of life, we are called to embrace one another with grace and compassion. Remember, you are wonderfully made, cherished, and loved beyond measure. May we walk together in the light of understanding, embracing the peace and joy that comes from knowing we are loved by our Creator and called to love one another. In 1 John 4:19-21, the Apostle John emphasizes the foundational Christian principle of love. He states that our ability to love originates from God's love for us. This divine love is the catalyst and model for how we should love others. John further asserts that claiming to love God while hating a fellow believer is contradictory. True love for God is demonstrated through love for others, as they are made in God's image. Thus, the commandment is clear: genuine love for God must manifest in love for one another.

Prayer
