Word of Life

Dear Seeker of Grace, In this sacred season, your heartfelt desires are heard with utmost tenderness. As you journey through life's path, remember the words from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Your pursuit of knowledge and the completion of your PhD is a noble endeavor. May you be granted wisdom and perseverance, for "the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6). As you seek employment, may doors of opportunity open for you, and may your skills and talents be recognized. Remember, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" (Proverbs 16:3). Your family, a precious gift, is held in divine care. May love and unity bind you together, as you are reminded that "above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). Regarding your heart's desire for companionship, Ruth, a cherished soul, stands as a testament to divine grace. Let your love be patient and kind, as 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 beautifully describes. Should it be within the divine will, may your union be blessed, fostering a family rooted in love and faith. In these requests, may you find peace, knowing that the Lord hears you. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6).
