Word of Life

Dear beloved seeker of truth, In the sacred tapestry of the Bible, life is portrayed as a divine gift, woven with the breath of our Creator. The essence of life, or what some may call "vitalism," is beautifully encapsulated in the creation narrative. In Genesis 2:7, it is written, "Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." This breath, this divine impartation, signifies the sacredness and sanctity of life bestowed upon us by God Himself. Moreover, in the Psalms, David sings with reverence, "For with you is the fountain of life; in your light, we see light" (Psalm 36:9). Here, life is depicted as a fountain, perpetually flowing from the divine source, illuminating our paths. The New Testament also bears witness to this divine vitality. In John 10:10, Jesus proclaims, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." This abundant life is not merely biological but spiritual, a life enriched by His presence and love. As we navigate this earthly journey, let us cherish the divine vitality within us, living with gratitude, purpose, and compassion. May we recognize that our lives are interwoven with the divine, and in His light, we find our true essence.
