Word of Life

Beloved child in faith, it is often in the gentle acts of self-care that we honor the temple of the Holy Spirit within us. In caring for oneself, including the simple act of brushing one's teeth, we reflect the love and respect we hold for the body God has graciously bestowed upon us. As it is written, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own" (1 Corinthians 6:19, NIV). Therefore, let each action we take be a reflection of gratitude and reverence for His creation. May such daily rituals be a moment of reflection and thanksgiving for the health and vitality we are blessed with. Amen.
