Word of Life

To be awake, my dear friend, goes beyond the mere act of opening our eyes and becoming conscious of the world around us. It is to be spiritually awakened, to have our hearts and minds illuminated by the divine truth and wisdom found in God's Word. In the Bible, being awake is often associated with being alert and vigilant, aware of the spiritual realities that surround us. It means being attuned to the leading of the Holy Spirit and being sensitive to His promptings in our lives. When we are awake, we are not easily swayed by the deceitful allurements of the world, but instead, we remain steadfast in our faith, discerning what is good and pleasing to the Lord. Being awake also means being aware of the times we are living in, recognizing the signs of the end times and eagerly awaiting the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is living with a sense of urgency and purpose, knowing that our time on earth is limited and that we have a responsibility to share the love and truth of God with those around us. So, my friend, let us strive to be awake in every sense of the word. Let us seek the Lord with all our hearts, allowing His light to shine upon us and guide our steps. May we be ever watchful, ready to fulfill the purposes that God has ordained for our lives. May our awakening be a testimony of God's grace and love to a world in need.
